Note that all sAAver flights available on AA.com are able to be booked on BA.  When there are many flights on one day, they may not all be listed on BA.com.  So you will have to call to book it.  Get the phone fee waved because it wasn't able to be booked on line.

NOTE: Household accounts will not allow transfers from Iberia to BA. Make sure you don't have a household account, and if you do, split it up.

NOTE: When booking, erase your Avios number when entering your passenger information. This will make it much simpler to add your AA Advantage number at a later time.

Easy task with Chase too.

Know someone who changed from his wife's FFN to his without any issues, although it may be different as it was a business card.
Happy to hear that. Was it with BA or a different program and how did he do it?

Not BA, was a Chase United, and was done over the phone.

They actually messed it up at first, but was later corrected, and they even backdated the mileage from 1 account to the other.

It's funny because I called Chase and they said I need to call ba.

I would guess that’s only the case with the BA card, as Chase closely associates this card with BA’s executive club department, as seen when opening a new BA card that they do confirm all with BA.

Avios master thread?
« Reply #424 on: May 06, 2013, 08:07:40 PM »
Avios master thread? been searching for a while for such a thread, can someone create an "avios wiki" - explained from beginning to end? I am pretty new to the miles game. I'd highly appreciate it, I'm sure others will as well. Thanks in advance.

Hi mordy, I would love to help you and answer your questions, but....
Don't attack with questions, ask one question at a time, so that its easier for me to answer it.

Second, please search before you ask, all of your questions have already been asked numerous times.

And third, after you search, READ the results, its in there. Dont just post in the appropriate thread.

You can transfer Chase UR and Amex MR points to BA Avios, each on their respective website, or by calling the number in the back of your card.

If you can post the origin and destination, dates and number of passengers, we may try to figure out why you don't see availability. (sometimes its simply not available).
Welcome!
Love me or hate me. I still love you.

You wont find any direct flights on that route. Unless u go in the winter months, where u could find JFK-FLL.

Umm... probably because you're posting in the wrong place.
You're like the guy driving on the wrong side of the road wondering why everyone is going the wrong way... :)

I once told them I spelled my name wrong, so they had to fix it. It was taking the rep a long time trying to figure out how to change it, so I said maybe just cancel the ticket and I will just make a new ticket and she listened.
But I guess YMMV

Has anyone tried to go standby on a later flight then booked on same day? Was it allowed?

I'm Exec Plat and when I got to the airport if the other flight I wanted was open they would put me on that flight, either just confirm me on it if it was the next flight out, or put me on standby.
