Note that all sAAver flights available on AA.com are able to be booked on BA.  When there are many flights on one day, they may not all be listed on BA.com.  So you will have to call to book it.  Get the phone fee waved because it wasn't able to be booked on line.

NOTE: Household accounts will not allow transfers from Iberia to BA. Make sure you don't have a household account, and if you do, split it up.

NOTE: When booking, erase your Avios number when entering your passenger information. This will make it much simpler to add your AA Advantage number at a later time.

Back to my question:
Is it at all possible to set an alert on systems like EF, KVS, Nexus etc, for a seat becoming available on AirBerlin using Avios?

Anyone?

TIA

+1

BA can't ticket it without the birthday, hence switching anything on AA does nothing.

I booked a ticket yesterday in BA and it didn't ask me for DOB.
Today I got a email from BA asking me to email them back the DOB or call them.

Regarding household account change:

I know you can only change it once every 6 months but what is considered as a change?  Can I remove two accounts and add two today, will that be considered one change or two?

LOL
If u miss ur flight and come within 2 hours of it, they'll put u free on standby for a later flight.
But if u want to go earlier ur right, you must pay, but I've know a few ppl that called aa or at the counter they didn't charge

What happens if come later than 2 hours?

Looking at AA.com for avail seats on flights and theres seems to be no open seats?! and how could I see if ill get on later flight otherwise?
(basically I'm looking to for a flight late 6/23 or very early 6/24 and there's no avail)

TIA

@Dan, on your recent Chicago trip, you weren't interested in showing up late and going standby on a later flight? You didn't think it would work?
Life isn't about checking the boxes. Nobody cares.

It definitely isn't the correct thread!
You won't get status with ba if you credit the flight to aa.
But if you credit to ba all 3 rt flights you should be gold by now.

Wouldn't be the same if he credits them all to AA?

Anyone ever book a ticket with BA get confirmation.  And then realize the points were never deducted and AA website the record locater shows the reservation but says Status Unknown.
