Booked TLV-VIE on Niki via BA, (Great rate 10,000 miles + $24 fees VS UA 17,000 + $120 fees) BA didn't ask for DOB while booking, can I get in to problems?

I am about to book a RT ticket from DUS to NYC with Air Berlin (ba.com Avios),

Does anyone know what are there Cancellation policy?

66000 Avios + $ 126.68 Is my total (adult+kid<2, OW economy OW Business)

On the phone with BA 1800-452-1201 I want to cancel a ticket, on hold for 45 minutes already... any better number to get faster to a rep or HAVE THEM CALL ME?

Finally a rep picked up, after putting me on hold she comes back that the ticket is canceled but she cant redeposit the miles because the account is a Isreal based account

what should I do? HUCA will cost me another hour

It goes by address on the account at the time of booking the ticket.

Called the reservations department (just 3 minutes wait time) first they sang the same song.... I told them I just moved.. no go, I asked for manager, after 5 minutes she came back that the points are deposited back to the account

Today I 'cancelled' a ticket for a flight that my son missed back in Sept.

First she said redeposit the taxes ($50 - Canada to US) and lose the miles.

Then when she actually put it through, she said, "It looks like the miles are trying to redeposit. I won't tell if you wont."

I checked my account. They did! So I only lost $40 on the deal.

i transferred starpoints to avios on october 14/15 for the 25% special (before it ended)
i dont see the points deducted from starwood/ added to avios
is this normal? also i cant seem to find the confirmation email they sent me....

Made a RT ticket NYC-YUL for 2 people (18,000 Avios), 2 hours before the departure 1 of the passengers decided not to take the flight, so just one passenger completed the trip, I called in BA to see if I can get back something for the guy that missed his trip, first the rep told me that they can't give me back the miles, so I asked her nicely if she can ask a manager if its possible to credit me this time.... She comes back that she will put back 18,000 points!!!! no questions asked... I said thank you log in to my account 18,000 points are there!!

when booking a BA flight with Avios, is it a problem to book a flight for friends/family under my account with my miles? I want to book a flight for my brother and his wife, can I do this?

As long as you are not charging them you are within the t & c's. If you charge them you have violated the t & c's. AYLOR. You are not likely to get caught being that it's your brother
