Hard Coded on Qantas as well, no option to change

Anyone know the policy- if i am scheduled for a later domestic flight and I am finished with my meeting earlier- can I take the earlier flight assuming there is room? is there a charge?

in the airport i have had luck going standby for no additional fees. YMMV.

Thanks! that is just annoying bec it means I would have to return a car early and then if it dosent work out then I would have ot wait in the airport for a extra 4 hours as oppose to not being bound to that. Oh well

if its an empty flight cant imagine they would give you a hard time if there is more than enough time to catch the flight...but again YMMV.

forgot to mention that on the phone they will always say there is an additional fee but in the airport they dont care and dont charge.

Is there a way of canceling Avios award ticket on AA online if its still less than 24 hours since it was booked or you have to do it via phone?
