Note that all sAAver flights available on AA.com are able to be booked on BA.  When there are many flights on one day, they may not all be listed on BA.com.  So you will have to call to book it.  Get the phone fee waved because it wasn't able to be booked on line.

NOTE: Household accounts will not allow transfers from Iberia to BA. Make sure you don't have a household account, and if you do, split it up.

NOTE: When booking, erase your Avios number when entering your passenger information. This will make it much simpler to add your AA Advantage number at a later time.

Why isn't it worth it for AA to allow Avios to be booked on flights that are not 12.5

Why don't they just charge more avios for the more expensive flights?
A penny saved is 1 cent

I believe this is the way it works.... UA is the same, they don't open up saver award for partners even for more miles. (Basically the non saver awards are more like paying cash, its not really a award)

Not sure which thread is the right thread.

Dan always mentions that you can add an infant at the airport for domestic. Why can't I just call AA?
Will they try to give you a seat for an infant in advance if available?

Doesn't hurt to add it over the phone. If the row has three seats and you are only two passengers plus the infant. If you get a nice rep, he/she may give you an aisle and window and try to block off the middle seat, unless the flights gets very full.
