Note that all sAAver flights available on AA.com are able to be booked on BA.  When there are many flights on one day, they may not all be listed on BA.com.  So you will have to call to book it.  Get the phone fee waved because it wasn't able to be booked on line.

NOTE: Household accounts will not allow transfers from Iberia to BA. Make sure you don't have a household account, and if you do, split it up.

NOTE: When booking, erase your Avios number when entering your passenger information. This will make it much simpler to add your AA Advantage number at a later time.

Book 7 then book 2 more. There are usually avail more then 7, you can allways cancel within 24 hours of booking (before 24 hours of dept.)

Book 7, pay for 2?
Book 7, wait to see if 2 more open up?
If this is domestic, if you cancel you only lose the taxes, which is cheap.

No. Make the ticket from the other account.
If there's not enough points in 1 account to make a ticket, they let you buy points at a rate of 1.3 cents each (usually) which is not bad.  (caution, those points are non-refundable after booking)

that's not an option, I "owe" someone miles and need to pay him back and he's not buying a ticket now.
Ba officially charges $170 to transfer so im looking for another way around

Thank you all for ur responses. Points are not the issue. just its 2 parents and 7 kids and it would be best to have them flying all together.

So book 1 adult & 6 kids on first booking, and 1 adult + 1 kid on second booking

I think "7 award seats avail"  means more than that.
Do the first 7 (leave off 1 adult and 1 kid) and see if another 2 seats open up.
If they do, you can join the 2 reservations together later.

If he calls BA, will they be able to access more than 7 seats at once?

I do it all the time. First book then then another 2 or more.

I booked an Avois award which I don't need, but couldn't cancel without the $40 fee. So I just waited, and the sckd changes rolled in, and then canceled for free

Does BA let you borrow avios?
