Note that all sAAver flights available on AA.com are able to be booked on BA.  When there are many flights on one day, they may not all be listed on BA.com.  So you will have to call to book it.  Get the phone fee waved because it wasn't able to be booked on line.

NOTE: Household accounts will not allow transfers from Iberia to BA. Make sure you don't have a household account, and if you do, split it up.

NOTE: When booking, erase your Avios number when entering your passenger information. This will make it much simpler to add your AA Advantage number at a later time.

Ouch, I blush.
I thought the only benefit is priority boarding.
(I get free bags anyway).
Love me or hate me. I still love you.

I'm having alot of trouble with my Executive Club acct. I opened my Chase BA card in October, did the spending, earned 52K or so points.  According to chase the points were transferred to by avios acct but BA has no record of them. The EC # I was assigned is one that I opened in 2000 but have not used since and I did not put it on my application (I didn't even remember having one).
Somehow (I'm not sure if BA or Chase does the linking) they linked my CC with the old EC #.  I've called numerous times waited on hold for HOURS to figure out what the problem is.
Today when I called to hear any update they told me that my EC # has expired after 3 years of inactivity (you linked my old acct  :o!) and I need to open a new EC # and have chase redeposit my avios into the new acct.  When I called chase to verify, they said they will forward my question and issues to the marketing dept and I will hear from them via snail mail in 7-10 days about this issue.

Anyone have any suggestions or ever had a similar situation that can help. TIA

Slightly OT (maybe rename the thread?), but is there any consensus/experience on these perks when flying AB (to Israel) booked with Avios? Or any other BA partner booked with Avios?
1- # of free bags?
2- Accelerated security?
3- Priority boarding?

Also- the AAdvantage card obviously not help here.

Anyone have any idea why on Sunday and Monday 2/23-2/24, there is absolutely no award availability for direct flights from MIA/FLL to NYC on AA, BA, or united. I know there is a boat show next week but it ends on the 17th.

I have had an experience where the address on the avios didnt match the chase address and chase claimed that was why the points didnt come throough. So i would suggest first check if your avios account is active-meaning can you log in ? if yes that means it works (3 years of inactivity just means u lose the points) Then the next step is to call chase to see if the points are in "holding" or where were they  transfered. Do addresses match ?....

Without adult or without parent?
Without parent-sure.
Without adult, if you put in the correct birthday, no. But you can just make up a birthday

With a little work, I found this page on AA.com
http://www.aa.com/i18n/travelInformation/specialAssistance/childrenTraveling.jsp

Maybe you can find someone traveling at a similar day who can take the child.

So he would need 'someone' older than 16 to take him where he needs to fly.
I don't mean ask someone at the airport.  I mean arrange with a reliable friend of a friend of a friend to take him.

Thank you for your suggestions
BA emailed me today that they looked into the matter and they created a new EC # for me and merged it with the original acct.  I should contact chase to resubmit my avios into this new acct and all should be in order...I called chase gave them my new avios # requested a new CC and I guess I'll wait and see...
