Note that all sAAver flights available on AA.com are able to be booked on BA.  When there are many flights on one day, they may not all be listed on BA.com.  So you will have to call to book it.  Get the phone fee waved because it wasn't able to be booked on line.

NOTE: Household accounts will not allow transfers from Iberia to BA. Make sure you don't have a household account, and if you do, split it up.

NOTE: When booking, erase your Avios number when entering your passenger information. This will make it much simpler to add your AA Advantage number at a later time.

Yes. They used the marriage license and changed the name at the airport.
They told me at the check in counter that they cannot change the name for me since it was a rewards ticket.

trying to use Avios to fly BOS-PHL June 27-29. Not sure how USair inventory has been showing up on AA award charts, but the Friday outbound flight is unavailable on AAsaver and so is Thurs and Saturday. Is US award avail on AA still very limited?

Currently if there is availability with US you could book it with AA. However booking it with avios only starts March 31st.

I just noticed something that helped me.... not sure if this has been posted anywhere here. If you book an AA flight on Avios and you click manage my booking and choose your seat, it transfers you to the AA website and then you can see your AA record locator and also add your AA FF number... easier than going through finair

In the past it always comes up as unavailable - even when I call reps they say that on these reservations u can't book seats. Is that accurate?

Go to the BA website, click "Manage My Booking" and it will send you to the AA website. You can select your seats... I have done it many times

i've had this in the past , they explained me its a issue that might occur to some avios tickets and if it does u wont be able to see the reservation on aa.com till departure , they are currently working on fixing this issue, however nothing is wrong with the booking
