Note that all sAAver flights available on AA.com are able to be booked on BA.  When there are many flights on one day, they may not all be listed on BA.com.  So you will have to call to book it.  Get the phone fee waved because it wasn't able to be booked on line.

NOTE: Household accounts will not allow transfers from Iberia to BA. Make sure you don't have a household account, and if you do, split it up.

NOTE: When booking, erase your Avios number when entering your passenger information. This will make it much simpler to add your AA Advantage number at a later time.

LAN has with connections, not direct.
Any way to check availability without calling?
(Like aa if it's available in saver then it's bookable on ba)

You could try checking on LAN's website and seeing what is available in lowest catagory, and giving that info over to BA agent.

Do u have any flyingblue (airfrance) or amex? AR flies the route nonstop, and usually has lots of mileage open.

That wouldn't be the low-level direct flight, that was 25k.

i've had this in the past , they explained me its a issue that might occur to some avios tickets and if it does u wont be able to see the reservation on aa.com till departure , they are currently working on fixing this issue, however nothing is wrong with the booking
I just booked a ticket and can't choose a seat even when I use my aa record locator (got from checkmytrip) it shows them all unavailable

BA customers generally can't pre-book seats on an AA flight.

I do it all the time. Sometimes the open seats are premium seats so they are waiting to see if someone will pay for them

if they only have premium seats why would they still have mileage availability?
my flight is domestic.

Yes definitely, it's very normal. Seen it many times, keep on minds lots of seats are randomly assigned at airport and check-in.

Thinking about booking a flight April 2nd on US Airways. What are the odds that BA will let me book on March 31st or is there a chance the switch doesn't work perfectly?

If you look on the AA website, you can see how many unassigned seats there are

Question for the group:

I am trying to book a flight with Avios. I keep geting errors that BA doesn't have rights to operate between those airports. I was able to see options yesterday.

Has anyone seen that before?

Make sure to select book with Avios not book with the money.
You can say what you think when you think what you say.
