Note that all sAAver flights available on AA.com are able to be booked on BA.  When there are many flights on one day, they may not all be listed on BA.com.  So you will have to call to book it.  Get the phone fee waved because it wasn't able to be booked on line.


NOTE: Household accounts will not allow transfers from Iberia to BA. Make sure you don't have a household account, and if you do, split it up.

NOTE: When booking, erase your Avios number when entering your passenger information. This will make it much simpler to add your AA Advantage number at a later time.

Companion pass only works for flights on BA (not partners). Fuel surcharges are very high.

Thought this might be a good place to post this helpful little bit of information:

I needed to cancel my BA award booking, but was unable to do so online. I was prompted to call Executive Club  >:(! As I'm sure many of you know, the wait times can average 45 minutes-1 hour... So, looking for the exec club number online (800-452-1201) I noticed that their operating hours at 07:30 AM - 8:00 PM, EST.

I had to get up earlier than that anyways--so at 07:31 the next day, I called that number and was connected to an agent within 30 seconds--unbelievable! I have yet to try it again, but it is worth a shot if you're up anyways. Anyone had the same experience?

I have reservations for a ticket NYC-YYZ (booked as 2 separate one-ways)
If I want to change the dates, I am better off just making new reservations?

For NYC-YYZ leg cancel and rebook for the with, you'll save a little bit by doing a change

To cancel a BA itin, it's 24 hours before actual time of departure, right?

So if flight is ex-HKG, I can cancel until 24 hours before HKG time?

When I buy AA tickets with Avios, I cannot access "main cabin extra" seats. Does anyone know how I can buy these seats?  Are they available for purchase at the airport?
