I will give mine a plus. Stressing all the guidelines out there. Cancelling all school. Cancelling all church services. Streaming church services online.
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

Absolute minus. People panicking which is leading to shortages. Other people not getting tested as "Its just the flu anyway, Im young and healthy I will recover."

Lakewood?

Yep

?

Little to no guidance/guidelines from community leaders, shuls, and schools, and the little that has been done is both too little and too late. This is also in a state with a recovering governor which might explain the less than 200 tests completed in a state of 11 million. Too many people are not serious about it, in many shuls you will hear a dozen people coughing, shaking hands, and not find any sanitizer or soap.

Close knit communities can have the biggest positive impact. Unfortunately the opposite is also true.

Same for Crown Heights.

Instead of social separation and doing things that will actually help, people are stocking up on food. I can't blame anyone, the guidance has been sorely lacking.

I sent COL my FIL's article, was very surprised they didn't even reply.

Education on COVID-19 seems to be sorely lacking.

Why is that?

One shul leader told me that making guidelines will scare people, another said it's just the flu, another said everyone knows what to do on their own.

Honestly, I told DW this morning that we should get our chicken and potatoes for Pesach ASAP, as the ability to shop in the future is unknown.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

I am curious @yuneeq at what point do you say you were wrong for all the panic? If Lakewood continues the way it is and there is no spike in cases and it stays low for the next week is that indicative? 2 weeks? At what point?

Bnei Berak is continuing yeshiva learning as usual. They have seen zero cases. Which is weird considering how close everyone is.
