All air travellers returning to Canada from abroad, with the exception of from the U.S., (for now) will need to take a #COVID19 test at the airport regardless of vaccine status.

Health Minister Jean-Yves Duclos said Canada is preparing for a “possible extension” of this policy to include the United States and the land borders if the situation evolves to the point that re-imposing further restrictions on Canada’s borders is warranted.

but "Unvaccinated and partially vaccinated youth 12 to 17 years of age are subject to the 14-day quarantine, and all testing requirements for pre-entry, arrival and Day-8 tests, whether or not they are accompanied by travellers who qualify as a fully vaccinated traveller."

Maybe get a hotel at the border, leave the teenager there, pick up the grandparents- goto hotel and return grandparents under 72 hours to avoid testing requirements- just a thought.

They let me in but kept us for an hour and a half over details of my kids quarantine.

Heard over shabbos from a bunch who they gave issues to. One person told me that his sister in law was sent back. Another was kept for 2 hours from 2 to 4 am.
