Canada to end PCR test requirement for short trips to U.S. according to reports. As of Sunday, fully vaccinated travelers taking trips to the U.S. of less than 72 hours will no longer require a PCR test before crossing back into Canada, according to several media reports.

What is the best for a US citizen vaccinated in Israel with only Hebrew vaccination letter to get into Canada?

If you have or can get a teudat chisun, that has enough English information - I used it on ArriveCan with no problem.

Here we go again.

All air travellers returning to Canada from abroad, with the exception of from the U.S., (for now) will need to take a #COVID19 test at the airport regardless of vaccine status.

Health Minister Jean-Yves Duclos said Canada is preparing for a “possible extension” of this policy to include the United States and the land borders if the situation evolves to the point that re-imposing further restrictions on Canada’s borders is warranted.

Switch Health executives will be drinking champagne tonight.

Do the new rules still allow unvaccinated teens accompanying vaccinated parents to enter to visit grandparents?

Thanks. This sounds like flight rules and not border rules. Does this mean that the rules are the same for land crossings?

not the same
but "Unvaccinated and partially vaccinated youth 12 to 17 years of age are subject to the 14-day quarantine, and all testing requirements for pre-entry, arrival and Day-8 tests, whether or not they are accompanied by travellers who qualify as a fully vaccinated traveller."

Maybe get a hotel at the border, leave the teenager there, pick up the grandparents- goto hotel and return grandparents under 72 hours to avoid testing requirements- just a thought.
