I mean just take a look at the current restrictions, if the restrictions given today, were given a month ago, everyone would panic. Heck, I remember arguing (not so long ago) about Florida not reporting their COVID testing, if it's censorship or is the government rightfully preventing panic. I think you'll agree now how one sided that question seems now. As we get used to the new restrictions it makes it easier to place more and more restrictions.

Perhaps it's impossible, but I know China did it successfully. More likely, if there are new local quarantine restrictions, we will see states group up like we did today - NY/NJ/CT.

It is not as difficult as that but in many places the dividing line would not be on state lines. There are a limited number of bridges crossing the Hudson. Same with the Delaware River. Even Interstates and train tracks have limited numbers of crossings.

The thing is we have to look at this as people agreeing in this crisis But on different ends of the political aisle. For example what happens in November if it doesn't go away?
