Do you think there will be many options for online (Jewish elementary) school after this is over?
I hope that is something a percentage of parents seriously consider.
For those that can do it, it can really alleviate the tuition crisis.

ABSOLUTELY NOT!
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Not everyone can give a nice looking haircut. I think the appointment thing should be continued in all barber shops! Saves lots of people time, money, and headaches.
There’s a reason they don’t do appointments usually, but I’m not sure exactly what it is.

I used to give myself haircuts in yeshiva, then went to the barber for the past 10-15 years or so, but I'm thinking of going back to the self cut. But I have never had a problem scheduling an appointment with my barber. It's the only way I'll do it. Otherwise I'm waiting for an hour.

Not sure if one can call it scheduling an appointment, but I usually chase my barber for a while to give me an "appointment" until he eventually calls me and says "come over" (it's across the street), or if I'm really lucky he says that when I call him. Those haircuts are usually held no earlier than 10pm.

Assuming people wont show up and they will loose the money that should have been made during that time. Also if people come late it affects everyone that is on schedule for after...
If they make an appointment at 3 and 3:30 they get two haircuts in. They can sometimes fit three in w/o appointments...

I'm not sure you're aware of the costs of online school. It's not going to alleviate anything.
I'm not sure you're aware of the costs of maintaining a building. It's going to lower costs substantially.

Payroll is by far the largest expense.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

Hopefully! Online 'school' can never replace the full Yeshiva experience but some hybrid of online school with local kids, weekly meetups, gym time in a local facility, mesibas in a local shul, etc, should definitely be an option!

Our community is big enough, there is a % of people that this can work for. It won't replace traditional schools but it can be a good option for some if done right.

I'm very aware. Do you know what goes in to the tech side of an online school?

No you didn't pre-empt anything with that. Even if they can, SERIOUSLY??!?!?!?
I am pretty sure that @S209 understood you "if they can" before as well.

Why would they want to?
The only ones I can think of are those who do not have appropriate schoold where they live which can include some Chabad shluchim I guess, but i think there already is such a solution for them.
