Obviously that's just a random guess, but let's go with that for now.

I voted no summer school because I think my kids will gain much more from 2 months of camp than from 2 months of school.

I get that. I am just saying no summer sounds great but not if you have to repeat the year. Just trying to understand what that option means.

I was thinking about this over the last few days, and I think that there should definitely be school this summer. A lot of snob NY parents who want to go upstate will object to this and scream and shout. But tough luck.

Another thing to consider is that many parents will feel like they’ve had enough of being home with the kids all year and will want some reprieve.

Lastly, Yeshivos will need to provide schooling for our children this year or parents will stop paying or demand a refund for tuition for the months they were closed.

Voted 2 months of summer school, but I was always against giving off the whole summer. There never should have been more than 3 weeks of summer vacation.

I don't see a valid reason for anybody to predict the future, especially now, when predictions keep failing.

It doesn't say when the school year usually ends. It could be in early may, which isn't that far off.
