What are the side effects of this "miracle" drug? Do some people have such harmful side effects that it should only be given in the cases of strongest need? Or give it to everyone so they can all get liver failure, ch"v?

This is all leaning on a French study of 26 patients. 6 of which didn’t make it to the end. So it’s based on about 5 patients that recovered more than the control group.

The reason there's such a push for this drug is because it's already been rigorously tested so the side affects are known.

Are the side effects the same when using it to treat different disease? Are the side effects the same when using in in different dosages or in combination with another drug?

Anecdotally, I personally know someone who was in very bad shape last week, was given this, and has shown tremendous improvement. Of course it can be unrelated and means nothing, hence the term “anecdotally”.

This twitter thread talks about hydroxychloroquine together with azithromycin. Most of the critics are against using azithromycin.
This KJ doctor has been using hydroxychloroquine together with zinc.

Here is where we come back to the risk benefit calculation. Both HCQ + AZ can have a negative impact on the heart. Using them in combo increases this risk. If there was reason to think this combo improved outcomes,then maybe the benefit > risk and we consider in selected patients

The story is true. We know him well. My family used him and he is best friends with my wife's boss. No one can confirm that he wrote the tweet though. No one is talking because that is not whats important. What is Important is to pressure the pharmaceutical companies to release the meds for compassionate use.
