I haven't seen any discussion of such a concept. How would it even work? What natural properties/characteristics could possible provide immunity?
I have seen a bunch of theories ranging from previous exposure to coronaviruses or other viruses like the common cold or flu, to blood type, to higher levels of Vitamin D. If this is the case, you’re probably golden BH.

This could be as well, but practucally speaking, I assume it would put me in the same boat as not having had it at all.
Unfortunately, if this is the case, you’re probably in the same boat as one who never got it at all.

According to a piece posted on the Lakewood Scoop there was exactly ONE SINGLE covid related transfer by Hatzalah in the past few weeks, And emergency rooms are sitting empty in some hospitals desperate for more “business “Maybe someone in the know can confirm.

What do you consider a Covid related transfer? I just got off the phone with NP Sefalko from CHEMED, and she advised me that she’s in touch with the ERs and doctors around Lakewood and they’re monitoring the growing Kawasaki cases very closely though it doesn’t seem too widespread yet BH

ETA: You should put a disclaimer that the “piece“ you are referring to is a random letter from a reader who actually said this

Quote
The number of active cases in New Jersey continues to drop. New hospitalizations are way down, and discharges are outpacing them. Ventilator usage in the state is barely at a third of capacity, and emergency rooms are empty. Credible sources say that some hospitals in New Jersey are laying off staff because their census counts are so low. A director of a New Jersey hospital said off-the-record that he is desperate for new patients, begging emergency services to send him “drunks and broken toenails.”

In Lakewood, one of the hardest-hit Townships in the state, calls to Hatzolah are back to pre-Covid-19 levels and they have reportedly done just one corona-related hospital transport in the past few weeks. All this data demands that a clear plan be put into place, and yet we have nothing.

Very far from a “piece” in the Lakewood Scoop.. this has nothing to do with news. I think people might take what you are saying as news reported not realizing it’s one man’s opinion and hearsay.

I’m guess he meant there was only one transfer inclusive of Kawasaki. Do you know of any Kawasaki Hatzalah transfers? I haven’t heard of any.

I think you meant this.
They were hospitalized due to Kawasaki; and I have now heard of a second child hospitalized with Kawasaki (and tested positive for Covid-19) as well. Both direct second hand reports; both in Lakewood.

So far, the only tests for antibodies that are reliable are those done in conjunction with the Mayo Clinic or Mt Sinai Hospital.  the tests done for plasma testing is sent to Mayo.
The FDA just approved a new test.  I think from Abbott labs.   I assume it'll hit the local labs pretty quickly.
The Abbott labs test has been available through Quest labs for about 2 weeks already.

My mistake.  The new FDA approved antibody test is from Roche Labs.

One thing that is baffeling many is how in the same family only some got it even though they were all living together in the same house. Some speculate that there are people that are less susceptible to get it - even though I do not understand how this would be. Here is some info on this topic.

Individual variation in susceptibility or exposure to SARS-CoV-2 lowers the herd immunity threshold - https://medrxiv.org/cgi/content/short/2020.04.27.20081893v1

Even if it’s theoretically true, is there a way to quantify this?

Take 10,000 people who tested positive and check how many of their household members have antibodies
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

Anecdotally, it’s been rare for asymptomatic household members to have antibodies in the circle of people I’ve spoken to who’ve tested

Sometimes even symptomatic household members.

It looks like NYS is finally getting it figured out, requiring nursing home staff to be tested twice a week and barring hospitals from releasing COVID positive patients to nursing homes.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

They see politics and not the job. Happening in every thread.
In NJ, +/-  40% - 50% of deaths have been at nursing homes.

Many nursing homes had nothing they could do, they were short on PPE, nothing to buy, federal or state gov took all. Staff taking sick leave after requiring quarantine. The list goes on and on. The government was not only not a help but a direct contribution to the problem.

Sadly....  many are owned by jews and many will become a scapegoat for government action, including criminal.

They wont nesecerally investigate hospitals, but nursing homes, just wait.
