By whomever, are you referring to economists?

Wasn't thinking of economists, but why not take it at face value - whomever actually meaning anyone currently opposing the idea.

Okay, because they would be the ones bringing up the consequences of incentivisation.

Where's @TimT when we need him. IINM I posted about this when it was a news story. They had smartphone apps with a 2D barcode which was required in order to board public transportation. This must have been in March.

That link does not say a word about immunity

Quote
The colors are assigned according to the provincial epidemic control database: people who have been diagnosed as confirmed, suspected or asymptomatic cases, or people with a fever will receive the red color code; their close contacts will receive the yellow code; and people without any record in the database will get the green code ó meaning they're healthy and safe to travel.

Correct. But it was used as a kind of a "passport" (maybe not mentioned in that article, but I recall seeing elsewhere that there was green or red to allow entrance on public transportation and IINM also malls), and I honestly think that there's no escaping some sort of "immunity passport" to allow a return to functioning societies and economies.

That being said, with the news of the Oxford vaccine having the best results with 2 doses, it would lend to reason that a recently recovered COVID-19 person might gain greater immunity if exposed again.

Iíve always thought immunity passports to be a terrible idea, but a vaccination passport would actually be fabulous.

No one would intentionally try to catch it.

It would persuade antivaxers to vax.
I'm not who you think I am.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.rev.com/blog/transcripts/florida-governor-ron-desantis-july-18-covid-19-press-conference-transcript/amp

Florida is now showing a 16.1% positivity rate for antibodies. New York State was around 14% after they peaked but that was a random sampling and Florida is from the drive through testing sites. Still, 80% of those coming for testing are asymptomatic so thatís a large part of the population that appears to have antibodies, and with a death count far lower then NY things may be starting to head in the right direction...
