Would love to hear your progress. @Dan @ExGingi
Please add any other DDFer's.

@gingyguy did I get the title right? That was a rough won.

Mild flu like symptoms today. Actually forced myself to drink powerade this morning so I don't repeat yesterday's experience.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

You should get yourself some Theraflu (Apple drugs should have). I gave a packet to a few people and bh they say it helped  its for flu like symptoms.

My symptoms at this point are very mild. Nothing compared to what I suffered on Shabbos Bereishis.

Were you tested positive? If so how long did it take to get results?

I just got tested today (tested negative for flu and strep yesterday) and they said it takes 3-5 days for results
I seem to have all the symptoms so I'm expecting it to come back positive

Not tested, as their guidelines say only test "patients who have respiratory disease requiring admission".

All Jewish neighborhoods have a lot of people (way more than 50%) infected.

I live in Flatbush but was going into the 5 towns up until yesterday

Not tested, as their guidelines say only test "patients who have respiratory disease requiring admission".

I got tested at Quality First Urgent Care, no appointment they said they were only testing people who have the symptoms but I heard people in the line behind me say they just had a soar throat so I think a lot of people are getting tested that don't need to be

What's the point of getting tested? Where's @chevron to call them rotzchim for over burdening the system for no reason, or @CountValentine calling them stupid, irresponsible, or other names for that reason. There's absolutely no reason to assume that anyone in the Jewish neighborhoods that has any symptoms doesn’t have it.

I called someone names for getting/not getting tested?

No. I believe you did for other irresponsible behaviors.

What makes getting tested for no logical reason any less irresponsible than other behaviors we are seeing?

You should be. People who are getting tested unnecessarily, are taking away tests from where they are needed.

We would need another 100 pages to discuss what is irresponsible and what isn't. Waste of time and would not accomplish anything.

If we had enough test I would want everyone to be tested.

And what would be done differently once you had the results?

The "Q" word, isolation of patients suffering from a contagious disease in order to prevent the spread of disease.

How do you propose that happens in a tight knit community with many household members per bedroom, and that is reasonably assumed to be widely infected?
