Not if you had proper insurance (probably only a Lloyds policy or one written by a Captive Insurance Company).
Many insurance policies have a lot of exclusions buried in the fine print, as lots of people are now learning the hard way that pandemics are not covered by many policies. Independent of the pandemic, the company that operated the cruise (One Ocean) is now effectively bankrupt and was cancelling cruises even before COVID-19, but many passengers have had their insurance claims denied due to the fine print.
Sure, a really expensive 100% comprehensive coverage may refund it, but those cost a fortune. Virtually everyone, if not everyone, in our Antarctic group bought travel insurance (or relied on cc such as CSR), but I don't know anyone who brought from Lloyds.
