Aha so that's what's been going on in FL, those pictures I saw that I thought were people partying on the beaches were really just Jews davening...

Hi, hoping to find some math expert on DDF.
Yes I know we saw a high number of positive test in Brooklyn slot of them from jewish people.
But, since this virus is very contagious, and especially with kids which don't have any symptoms but can still carry it, the chances that a family with many kids, should catch the virus is multiplied significantly.
So taking into consideration that the average American family size is 3.14 and the average (Jewish) Brooklyn family size is 9, the chances that it should be caught is multiplied drastically.
Looking for a math expert to break down the numbers.
I would assume it should be something like this
2 to the 3.14 power =8.81
While 2 to the 9th Power =512
Which means that a typical large family should have 58x more chance to catch it.

You may also want to factor in that Jewish families may mingle more with others than the general public. EG: going to shul, more weddings and simchos, visiting family that leaves nearby...
