Anyone know anything about this? I searched the forums for Acura and havent found anything on it? Will they take me anywhere? How does it work?

Usually they will take you anywhere within a certain radius of the hotel, typically like 5 miles or so.
However, it is entirely subject to availability so advance reservation is highly recommended.
Note: each hotel may have some unique policies regarding this so probably a good idea to contact them directly to verify.

Nothing in W Hotels is as impressive as it seems. You'll find that this service (and almost all others) are almost non-existent

The Acura system is a hoax. Completely overrated. They only start at ten am and stop at around seven pm. They only run on the hour but sometimes skip an hour. I stayed at the w on Lexington ave and found it utterly useless.

Well that's depressing. First time staying in a W hotel and it's not nice? Or is it just the Acura? Should I cancel

Only been to 2, but we loved the HKG property.

The Acura service is serviced by a 3rd party company, and they aren't as friendly as the w hotel staff. Nonetheless if you have your entire trip planned out then you could reserve the W as many times as you want within their hours of service, additionally some hotels will only drop you off while others will pick you up as well ( As far as I recall). Do your home work before your trip and you wont be disappointed.

I was so annoyed about the service that they refunded all my points, as when I made the reservation they gave me the impression that it was an all night thing. Either way I loved the hotel. We got upgraded to a suite and I'm only lousy gold.

HKG hotel (as well as several others) are cool but have awful service

The service was lacking, but considering they wound up refunding more points than I had paid I would take it any day.
And the hotel was much cooler than W SoBe IMHO.
Also it was the only hotel I've ever been in that takes your luggage from your room and checked it through to my destination airport...

That's a nice service if they actually told the guests about it. Both times that I was there I had to schlep my stuff through the mall to the station and check it there.

They don't tell anyone, but I asked the whatever/whenever folks and they said no problem!

In essence, the W functions as a great airport hotel as you can go from your room to check-in in less than 5 min and then be at the gate a half hour later. Quicker than any of the airport hotels there
