Uber also has a offer $20 off $30 at a convenience store.
My review of UberEats convenience 20-off-30:
I did this with Duane Reade, ordered water (24-packs) and soda (12-packs of cans).
There was no NY-state 5-cent/bottle deposit listed in the app, so I had hoped it was included. Instead my ~$32 order came out to ~$20 after taxes and fees after applying the $20-off-$30 promotion. After the other was delivered I got hit with a $4.83 price adjustment, even though IINM the soda was slightly cheaper on DR’s site than on UberEats. $4.80 would explain bottle deposit on 96 bottles/cans, but there was no itemization. I disputed the $4.83 price adjustment with a detailed dispute, and got a generic denial. A strong and detailed response got me a reversal of the adjustment.
My poor Chinese delivery driver on a moped had one 24-pack of water behind himself, another 2x 24-packs of water and 2x 12-packs of soda where his feet should have been.
The offer still appears for me for Walgreens, but I’m not too keen to repeat it because it was such a pain just to save a few dollars.
