I had GI issues for over a week, and then a bad cough with some chest tightness over the last few days. Along with some intermittent body aches and chills, but no fever. In NJ, and 3/4 of my neighborhood experiencing some of the same symptoms, but they will not test unless you need to be hospitalized. I'm pretty much just waiting to lose my sense of taste/smell now to confirm (and also cause I heard that is a sign that virus is on way out). BH while I do feel like just climbing into bed half the time, I am definitely able to function, hope it doesnt get worse.... On the silver lining front, between the stomach issues and not much appetite, I have lost 13 lbs. over the past week
And could not smell the besomim tonight.... hopefully on the way out now. I would like to add something I heard directly from a Dr. in Maimonides, he said they've been finding that staying in Tylenol pretty much back to back has been helping alleviate the symptoms for those with milder cases and more importantly, seems to shorten the duration of them as well. Everyone stay well and refuel shleima to those who are sick!!
i cant smell anything and have a reduced sense of taste but no cough or fever.... any idea how long this will last
At the present moment, terrible aches, sleeping all day, and some other symptoms.
Is there a test that can tell if you had the virus. What I mean is you never showed any symptoms but had the virus.
I believe there’s a blood test.
An antibody blood test.I don't think that exists yet in the US, but it's being worked on.
And they should speed up this process, to get all people that had it already, back to work.
that is if we indeed develop anti-bodies and the mutation doesn't change
Supposedly it is. I believe mount sinai is testing for it. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScvkAsYR3zWK--na168eH4535woe4diUv-eGDYm03BrrwSWzg/viewform
My wife has all symptoms, and I’m fine BH. She didn’t test because she’s BH healthy and they’re not doing tests here anymore on healthy people.
