I did not get tested for Covid-19 but did have the symptoms. Got tested for plasma last week just got the results in at 920 titers.

I had a fever, but that happens to be once a year. Can't recall the last time she got a fever, so expected her to have it asymptomatic.

I’ve not heard of too many people showing antibodies without symptoms. If anyone has a different experience please post. This is another confirmation of that trend.

Is it possible that it's a false positive? Various versions of the antibody tests lack good specificity.

Roche told me any lab with their Cobas system is capable of doing it. There are 14,000 of them globally and pretty much any large hospital should have it.

ETA in case it's not obvious, the challenge is finding a lab that has protocols in place. No idea.

Yup, we did the Abbott test via Quest. No titer levels offered, just positive or negative.

Isn't that test pretty reliable? As to your wife, perhaps you overcame the virus fast enough that it wasn't transmittable by the time you got home from NY

Did she show symptoms? I have seen many couples with one test positive for antibodies and the other not, but usually the one who does not have antibodies did not show (strong) symptoms at all.

Multiple people on the forums have reported this.

The most likely explanation is that she simply does not have antibodies. My wife is the in the same situation. She was exposed to me the entire time and has no antibodies.

Yes, my father had symptoms (positive pcr/antibodies) but my siblings had no symptoms at all.

1. Without antibody levels in your reports it’s hard to say. It’s been reported (/theorized?) that those with asymptotic/mild infections get lower antibody levels. Maybe you’re in that tranche.
2. Maybe it’s just a matter of time and if she tests in a month she’ll be positive.
