That might wait until congress acts to see if they get anything.
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

Is there any reason not to take advantage of the 90 day hold for NY mortgage payments? I can thankfully make the payment this month but wondering what downside there would be to just postponing it to the end of the term? Seems like a free 90 day loan but I'm sure I'm missing something. I have Santander if that makes any difference

You will have to divide your 3 payments over the following 6 months- in addition to your regular mortgage payments. For some that works, for others it isn't that enticing.

I thought there were just adding it to the end of your term? So if you had 60 payments left for example, it would get extended to 63 payments

I'm basing it off info I got from my bank. Perhaps it depends if its backed by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac
As always, call your bank for the most accurate info

Each bank is doing different. It would be helpful if people would list their bank and what they were willing to do.
