Honestly, I stopped reading after point 1.

Your arguments are arguments. There's room for doubt both ways. Point #1 is a bold faced lie.

Basically FUD. Ironically the title calls vaccine mandates insane, when the COVID denial and FUD is equally insane.

3. Vaccinated people might be able to spread COVID, but it isn抰 true that CDC acknowledged that they spread COVID just the same as someone who is unvaccinated. Probably less, but once again this hasn抰 been studied sufficiently.
I think this is based on the CDC's announcement on Friday, which led them to recommend masks again for those vaccinated.  Summarized here:
https://www.nytimes.com/2021/07/30/health/cdc-vaccinated-delta.html

"In yet another unexpected and unwelcome twist in the pandemic, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released on Friday a report strongly suggesting that fully immunized people with so-called breakthrough infections of the Delta variant can spread the virus to others just as readily as unvaccinated people....

"The viral load data indicate that even fully immunized people can spread the virus as easily as unvaccinated people who become infected."

Thanks, I wasn抰 aware of that. Still, I feel like this hasn抰 been studied sufficiently to support that conclusion, would you agree?

Yes, it's based on one cluster of cases in Provincetown MA.  I haven't looked at it closely, don't know if they concluded that it was being spread by those vaccinated because there's such a high proportion of vaxed people in town, or if they actually traced the transmissions.  They felt it was enough info to conclude that vaxed people should mask, to prevent transmission to others.  Non-vaxed have been told to mask all along.

The op-ed says "The teachers can protect themselves by vaccinating if they would like to!!"  This parent (?) considers the hanholo responsible if their daughter develops "thrombosis or arrhythmia, a heart attack, or a stroke" from the vaccine, but doesn't seem to consider themselves responsible if their unvaccinated daughter transmits covid to her teacher.

Yep. I don't have answers. I'd say facts and logic, but those don't matter.

Reinfections have not been the situation with the Delta variant. Some isolated cases as until now.

I vaxxed even though I had covid, but it's pretty obvious by now that it was a waste of 2 doses. לא מועיל לא מזיק.

So the people filling up the hospitals in the US & Israel are only those who never had Covid yet ?

1) Not everyone was infected, even if they all think they had it already.

2) We have no clue if it was a waste. We'll likely have the data within a month or 2, but by then it could be too late for some. Also, you're basing this off of Delta, and we have no idea what this fall/winter will bring in terms of variants.

I think they said last week in Israel that it's 99% first time, 1% reinfection.

Of course, people who aren't sure they were infected should get vaccinated.

What抯 his point? Natural immunity?

Why isn抰 he including the recovered (unvaccinated) percentages for over 18?
What happens if Delta is running will in the unvaccinated part of a similar population? It抯 possible the numbers for recovered (unvaccinated) patients would be much higher. It抯 also possible that they won抰, but he isn抰 providing enough data to come to any definitive conclusions about natural immunity.
