That's a 3:2 ratio. So is the frum community seeing this disproportionately affect men, or are community standards of keeping the deaths of women from being publicized?

The shuls are sending shiva notices to pay the call by phone. I dont see why they would deprive the aveil of a shiva call simply because the niftar was female.

Wouldn't be surprised if %'s (especially right when this started blowing up shortly after Purim) were even higher for men in frum communities for a handful of reasons mentioned in other threads.
