People with a heart condition who are otherwise doing fine, can get a heart attack because of Covid-19. I know of a case personally.

I've heard from two doctor friends - one who is a cardiologist who discovered that clotting is a side-affect of covid, and was working on protocols for giving blood thinners to prevent clots.

Another is a Nephrologist (Kidney doctor) he and his colleagues saw a large number of COVID patients with Renal Failure. They did a post-mortem and realized that although COVID didn't cause the kidney failure directly, it put their bodies in a state where they were sick enough to go into renal failure.

So both Heart attacks and kidney failure can (and are) being brought on as complications of COVID
