A number of COVID-19 patients are in critical condition, and family members are trying to put pressure on companies to release certain potentially-life-saving drugs to them. Notable is Gilead Sciences, makers of Remsedivir, which is only giving the drug to patients who meet a certain criteria, I believe. Campaigns have been launched on social media, and when a post gets a lot of retweets or likes, it generally puts pressure on a company to buckle.
