@crg Will the 10,200 unemployment that is not taxable be counted as income for the EITC?

Kimche depische can shut down this year if it funds before Pesach.
I totally agree.  I would say for over 90% of the population they should have had a better year financially because of covid.

People who lost their jobs likely still need the help, but this helps a lot.

Kimcha D'pischa should do a massive fundraising event this year, so that they can disburse the money next year, perhaps to the same people who give them their maaser this year...

What income amount will be the cutoff line for increased child tax credit?
“Under the plan Democrats unveiled Monday, most American parents would receive $3,000 a year for every child ages 6 to 17 and $3,600 a year for every child under age 6. The idea is to send a monthly payment of $250 to $300 to help offset costs families face all year instead of just giving a one-time annual payment.
This would be a major expansion of the child tax credit, which currently provides $2,000 a year for children from birth through age 16. Biden’s plan would expand the tax credit for only one year, but senior Democrats have said they will seek to make the expansion permanent later this year.

You'd be surprised how little 150k is when you have a decent size family. It can leave someone just barely in the middle class, not eligible for any government programs and unable to cover their expenses.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

Especially when not sending to public school (free)
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

No they're usually not, they're the accountant who shlepps from Lakewood to Manhattan every day (pre-COVID).

Cut it out. The American Charedim have never been is such great financial shape as they were/are in since Covid began. Unemployment to the masses, EIDL's, PPP X 2, Stimmies X 3, rent relief, retail grants, 2% refi's, soaring stock market, the list goes on. Maybe those at the top got more, but boy did we have a trickle down. Ask the guys who deal in silver, jewelry, and watches, and talk to any leasing guy and resi RE broker and the million mortgage officers that popped up like mushrooms after the rain. Don't cancel Kimcha D'Pischa, there are families who can use a few $K extra now, but everyone's the better for Covid economic relief, which sort of went overboard. Hashem should only help we keep the momentum into the back-to-normal.
