TWOV (Transit Without Visa)
TWOV is permissible for travellers continuing their trip to a third country by the same plane on the same day may transit without a visa on condition that they have return/onward tickets, enough money and all documents needed for their next trip, but they are not permitted to leave the transit area. If such transit travellers should stay for more than 24 hours, they have to obtain a transit permit for a maximum stay of 48 hours from the airport authorities, but this does not apply to the following:
a. Travellers from Luxembourg, United States of America, Malawi, Germany, Vietnam, Netherlands, Korea, and South Africa.
b. Travellers with Palestinian travel documents.
c. Travellers with passports issued by Chinese Taipei.

Booked August. Read on ft they downgraded someone to economy on a previous flight mistake saying your not flying la premiere for that kind of money

The state dept. does not consider it to be dangerous, there are areas but mostly safe.
