The words can mean different things in context. The two sentences I offered meant the same thing. Sure I’ll gladly give $10 to the coronavirus charity campaign of your choice from the other thread if someone we agree to judge neutrally says that those sentences don’t mean the same thing.

@Yehuda57, please don't judge all threads by the action of few. I know that institutional stereotyping exists, but it's wrong. There are many upstanding threads on these forums, places where you would gain both insight and knowledge from visiting them and hanging out on them. Don't look at the most pretzel-filled thread and judge the rest of them by it.
