There are many more non at-risk people testing positive than there are at-risk people testing positive. Supplies, even abundant ones, would quickly deplete if anyone who tested positive was treated (unnecessarily) with this.

Vaccines showed the most promise. Also, you prioritize not getting the virus to begin with. 
Now testing has been a blunder from the beginning and the current admin didn't fix it and it is on them.
Also, by now we should all have n95 masks provided by the government. Blunder IMHO.

Absolutely. But there has been ample supply for about 6 months now, plenty of time to focus on other things. (Although we should know how to chew gum and walk at the same time)

2 years into the pandemic. In NYC (even BP) you need to line up outside clinics for 2-4 hours to get a test.
You cant find a home test anywere.
How can a symptomatic person even bear standing in such a line?
