Your wrong on so many levels. Although fits right into the anti trump agenda . Here in California there is a national stay at home order. Stores are busy like regular, streets are full, parks are full, everything is running regular. Only thing different is some people not going to work. Stay at home order is nice, but clearly doesn't have a profound impact on people.

NYC is far more congested, so makes sense we didn't get it as bad. As far as the curve, no idea. Makes no sense, because in the city people really aren't taking it seriously.

I'd just like to point out that it's very likely a stay-home order wouldn't have prevented anything in this case. It's a pork plant, which would be considered essential. All 300 employees would likely still have been exposed.

I am not president. I don't have resources, numbers and expert advice that he does.

I can tell you one thing. If I believed shutting down flights from China was right because of the seriousness I would not have waited another month+ to take my next steps.

What happens when it comes out the main risk to NYC was from Europe and not China? When were flights shutdown from Europe?

+1, especially when the outbreak was in a place which would have been open under any guidelines.

This isn't about Trumps Watergate. It is about these Governors who think it isn't going to hit them. How is your governors blunders working out? Didn't this moron just announce that the WWE is an essential business? That is like saying wh*rehouses are an essential business.

Just a few ideas...

1) 2 week national stay-at-home order, with individual states determining which businesses are essential in their state.
2) Close all airports and trains, and ban inter-country and interstate travel.
3) Make masks mandatory for anyone who is more than 1000 feet from their residence, or in any public place.
4) Offer tax breaks to any business that keeps employees working from home.
5) Give tax breaks and/or partial student loan forgiveness to any and all frontline responders.
6) Subsidize delivery services which meet certain criteria in safe practices and people served.
7) Offer tax incentives to all businesses that come up with re-open plans which keep customers out of stores (curbside, delivery, etc).
