Usually "a federal health official close to the process" is as accurate as me hearing something from my uncles friend who's on a WhatsApp group with a cousin to the janitor at an iHop where the waiter has a night job together with the fellow who sells newspapers 3 blocks from the White House.
Maybe, but read both the FOX version and the CNN version. Given the facts that they both agree on, and given that both of their experts (and Fauci) all agree that there is zero scientific basis for this decision, and given that this is far from the first time the administration has been accused of leaning on the CDC to alter their guidance to fit WH needs, why is it so far fetched to believe that they actually do have a source?
