I'm definitely not saying that this seller is selling knockoffs, but as a general reminder for anyone buying these days, remember to do your due diligence on whatever certificates the sellers have. This should be taken as a given, but if there are still scammers out there then there must still be people that buy from them.

See attached image of what one guy I know sent to a seller (mostly for fun) a few days ago after digging up info on some certificates of authenticity that the seller provided.

His tips for ensuring authenticity:

1. Always reverse image search on google.
2. Got a link on the certificate? Look it up.
3. Got a name or company? Look it up.
4. You can use a tool in Photoshop to undo a blur and undo the blurred text to find out the real name. People think that they can color over a pic and it will stay like that. Sometimes it will work.
5. Use a site called remove.bg to see if there was anything pasted on top, doctored, edited, etc.
6. Use your common sense.

If it's to good to be true, it is.

On this topic. Does anyone know a good program to check images if they have been altered or photoshopped?
