-They have staff shortages so the family and patient experience is often bad.

-Other hospitals don't aggressively treat patients they deem too old or too sick. Maimonides does.
-Their medical results often beat the big guys. Partly because they're willing not to give up. Partly because they have some great doctors.

My wife was on the line with someone the didn't know, it didn't take long till they recognized each other from the hallway in maimonides they were together for a half a day till they got a room #Maimonides

When I was in MMC (Monmouth Medical Center) I told them it's not good for their name since people confuse them with the other MMC

Where do you find these great lines? In which "big guys" facility does the head of ICU stay for 20+ years? In which hospital does this head of ICU decide if there will be a positive outcome or not and deny entry into an ICU unit based on his arbitrary feelings of whether or not there will be a good outcome. Just walk the ahllways of the 7th and 8th floor and you will see patients on vents who clearly belong in and deserve ICU treatment, even if its end of life.

In April 2020 certain individuals had to sneak into the hospital and administer life-saving drugs to patients because the hospital staff didnt want to do their job.

In many hospitals, they'll choose not to perform procedures that patients need, because they're concerned about poor outcomes. Inserting G-tubes is one example.
