This reminds me when I was on a SW flight. I was the only one in the row and sitting in the aisle seat. I put bag under the middle seat. FA comes by and says it has to fit all the way under seat. The reason being is, so it does not block someone getting out. Unless I was going out that little window it wasn't blocking anything. I just looked at her and said ok. I had to take a thing or two out.

Moral of the story: Don't sweat the little things.
