Fear bordering on paranoia. People will go into the street to avoid passing a maskless person.
So can those who engineered this fear/paranoia check-off mission accomplished?
I went today to Costco of Brooklyn, I had a mask ready in my hand, but then I saw that Costco employee at the entrance wasn't wearing one (there was another employee there that was wearing one). I asked if masks are needed, and was told that they were optional. It was the first time in over a year being able to shop at a non-Jewish retailer mask-free. It was refreshing.Surprisingly, the overwhelming majority of people in the store were wearing masks. What's wrong with people? (I also can't figure out a few community members that I know that keep on wearing masks).
Or they don't want to be thought of as Republicans I guess?
Monticello Walmart today, majority of shoppers and all employees still wore masks, so I followed suit. If not for my payos and yarmulka I would ditch that too.
Was in Walmart in toms river today. Majority were maskless. I always wear a mask in non Jewish stores and will continue to do so until 80-90% don't
Non-Jewish stores here all still have the majority of people masking despite it being voluntary. Either it's a security blanket or they don't want to be thought of as Republicans I guess?
Quotes in a signature is annoying, as it comes across as an independent post.
Just like people needed to see how much of a bother some people considered masks to be, others need to realize that some people simply are not bothered by wearing a mask
Is it possible that government mask mandates were just reflecting the will of the people? What a crazy thought.
it's good to be a Lubavitcher
