@CountValentine. Please check with the hospital how often a doctor was told to change his masks (before covid) due to all germs collecting themselves on the mask and then will talk what to learn from hospitals about masks

Unwanted effects were rarely reported; discomfort was mentioned.

I love how easy it is to fool the medical profession. You think they would follow the science.

Leaving the science aside, the doctors main goal with masks is not to be sued and they will just go along with the official recommendation whether or not it is backed by science.

Man I must be stupid for relying on the medical science my doctor provided to me for me to decide on my cancer treatment. I should have known he was being fooled because he was wearing a mask.

(not the strongest argument, but the study, as the authors seem to say, is hampered from firm conclusions by many factors, just looking for a bit of clarification if possible).
