Lipa davened in my shul and sat not 10 feet away from me, and he also founded and ran our shul's chevras tehillim for the kids. It was literally a few weeks ago that he made a kiddush in our shul celebrating the birth of his daughter.

He was 39 years old and perfectly healthy. He had tested positive for Covid and was in quarantine at home with mild to moderate symptoms. Then a few days ago he woke up with difficulty breathing and a few hours later he was niftar, leaving 11 children behind.

Would like to share some good news here, I have a friend that started buying masks for first responders earlier this week, and I contacted him to turn into a real campaign when I noticed how badly Hatzalah and other orgs needed the supplies. In the past 48 hours since we started, we created an organization with branding and have already raised 10's of thousands of dollars using dozens of professionals volunteering their time and obtaining supplies sold at cost or donated. I haven't slept much since then, but I'm extremely impressed how it is all coming together from people all over...Mi Keamcha yisroel!
