Can you explain?
I am doing a lot of mileage tickets for people flying internationally the last few years. This summer BA made a strict drive, which they closed hundreds of accounts, among them were a few of my accounts that i used (bought from people). When I went thru the accounts that they closed, I saw that they basically closed all account that had more than 1 booking at once, meaning that both booking were still on the accounts, and non of the passengers have flown yet.
But, the good part was that I was able to get back a few of the accounts, thru contacting the account owners, and requesting them to call BA with all the details, and tell them that look I booked this for that person which is my.... (uncle / father in law / friend etc). BA asked them a lot of tough questions, but ended up reopening the account. meaning that they weren't like "George Bertlowitz" from AA (for all here that know him) who is a tough person, and you have almost 0% chances to get back your account once it was audited. But, still tough, and not worth taking the risk.
