PM Netanyahu Instructs MOD to Quarantine all Persons Entering Israel from Abroad

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, today (Wednesday, 1 April 2020), instructed the Ministry of Defense (MOD) to quarantine all persons entering Israel from abroad in designated hotels (or other installations converted for that purpose) under supervision. The decision is to be implemented immediately.

Prime Minister Netanyahu also determined that to the extent that MOD succeeds in supplying test kits, in accordance with the requirements set by the Ministry of Health, the carrying out of the tests will be considered in relation to all those returning from abroad.

Residents are allowed in. Main difference is that before they would walk out the airport freely. Now supposedly sent straight to supervised quarantine

Game room!!! includes Ping Pong X-Box Pool fooseball etc...

Everyone gets free masks to wear

Where the Govt gets the money for all this is beyond me....

That's what many people have been doing for the past month. Officially new policy will be implemented today.

They've had flights of people coming in from infected areas for weeks now. The people they let back into their communities have been home for a week or 2, so the numbers are now starting to rise. They've quarantined the entire Kfar Chabad. They're actively trying to turn Bnei Brak into an enclosed ghetto. Bennett is crying that he wanted a mandatory quarantine for every person coming into the country 2 or 3 weeks ago, but Netanyahu shut him down. 90% of the repatriation flights have already happened. How is quarantining the last 10% not too little, too late?
