Some other good games are, of course, settlers of catan which is a lot of fun especially since the board isn't the same every time (even though it was mentioned before, it deserves another). Operation F.A.U.S.T, although you can get sick of it very quick, the idea of the game is good. If your'e wordy than bananagrams is fun, and each game is not too long. Codenames pictures is also very good. Scotland yard is very fun but part of the game includes a bit of writing even though its not really necassary. And rummikub, scrabble, and parchessi, they are classics but still enjoyable, and more relaxed.
