Making new thread since main maimonides one might be cluttered or avoided by people...


Anyone know how the labor and delivery portion of the hospital is?
Anyone been there in the last week or 2?

According to Dr that delivers there daily.
 It is fully functioning as regular without any interruptions

As of 12 days ago:

Had to go through covid screening tent at the entrance of the ER, they then provided us with surgical masks and took us through a side entrance directly into the hospital to L&D. Next part was as usual other than we and all medical staff staying masked throughout. After transfer to the pp unit we were told we could take the masks off within our room but to put them back on anytime someone walked in.

One support person allowed, this is the same support person who will be allowed throughout the stay. Discharge after 24 hours.

Eta: just realized you're talking about Maimonides, this was about the other mmc, Monmouth medical center

You may want to edit the name of the thread to be more clear which hospital you are refering to. In this area MMC refers to monmouth medical center, the main hospital used for labor and delivery in the Lakewood area. (although I suppose info on that hospital would be useful for some DDF users).

Labor and delivery is open, they allow one visitor during the birth and once that visitor leaves they can't return and no visitors from 9pm-7am.
