The
thread asking about Life Insurance got me thinking that a product that is no-less important but much less widely owned is Disability Insurance.
While most Individual Disability Insurance policies have a 90 day elimination period, so they only kick in if it's serious enough to last long, many quality policies have a "presumptive disability" clause, which would waive the elimination period in certain cases (being in a coma might be one of them).
So how many people here own an individual Disability Insurance policy, or have STD and LTD through an employer?
