Do you have Disability Insurance?

The thread asking about Life Insurance got me thinking that a product that is no-less important but much less widely owned is Disability Insurance.

While most Individual Disability Insurance policies have a 90 day elimination period, so they only kick in if it's serious enough to last long, many quality policies have a "presumptive disability" clause, which would waive the elimination period in certain cases (being in a coma might be one of them).

So how many people here own an individual Disability Insurance policy, or have STD and LTD through an employer?

You couldn't buy one now even if you wanted to (except maybe through Lloyds of London, if you can make a good case as to why you should be insured).

I have two std plans. Used to have LTD with my previous employer but my current one doesn't offer that.
