All this social distancing has created lots of novel halachic issues and questions that don't come up when you can just take your shul for granted, not to mention with Pesach approaching and issues like tevilas keilim, mechiras chometz without a kinyan, etc. I figured this would be a good place to use the situation as a learning opportunity.
I'll start with Krias HaTorah. Just before the first Shabbos we davened at home, two well-known Flatbush shuls sent out to their email lists various guidelines for a Shabbos davening at home. One of them said clearly that we should lein the parsha and Haftorah as best we can (from a Tanach or Tikkun?), while the other advised doing so and added "she'lo min hachiyuv." Has anyone looked into the halachic issues of this and has any mareh mekomos/shittos/p'sakim to share?
Also, to the extent that one should do so, does it also apply to Haftorah, Shabbos mincha, Monday and Thursday mornings, taanis (hopefully no longer applicable by 17 Tammuz)?
And once we BE"H soon return to shul, will it be the longest davening ever with the longest leining ever as we make up all the parshiyos that we missed, or those from the present sefer that we missed, or from the previous week, or no tashlumin? Again, sources would be helpful and appreciated.
