100%. But even given the global ratios of 2:1, the frum world is reporting ratios of closer to 10-15:1.

The politically incorrect answer is minyanim...

Then the argument is, if a husband has it a wife will get it, to which you can argue nida and extreme modesty in some ultra orthodox circles. But 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Not every minyan goer will necessarily get infected, same for each wife. It’s one more degree of removal, decreasing the odds. Obviously only a partial factor.

Both my parents got it, my father was in bed for 2 weeks +hospitalization (now out BH), my mother was sick just for 2 days.
Usually when it's the flu, my mother is sicker than my father (by far). There's for sure something about this virus and men.

China likely designed it that way because they have too many men https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/2018/world/too-many-men/

It's still doesn't answer the question what is it in men that makes them more affected by this virus, even if it's man made.

Exactly, I'm seeing this phenomenon again and again. Even the women who do get infected will still be showing less severe symptoms and won't be as sick.

If anecdotes mean anything, my parents had the opposite. Father had a very light case and my mother was in bed for a few days. Same for an aunt and uncle of mine

Similar here. Father had high fever for 10+ days, terrible cough and stuff like that (then he took hydroxychloroquine and all that other stuff) while my mother got better after a few days, without getting too bad.
I'm not who you think I am.

More unscientific numbers.
Misaskim lists 48 niftarim right now!!!  What a tragedy!!!
Men - 31 (65%)  Women - 17 (35%)

That's a small sample but pretty consistent with the numbers for the population at large.

No, it wasn't about an anecdote, was more to point out the contrast with the seasonal flu.
